Biography: I was born in Saskatchewan and spent my growing up years eating straight out of the garden in Manitoba, and then went on to building elaborate blanket forts in college. I have lived in four provinces, a territory, and two states, and currently call Grande Prairie home. Before becoming a teacher, I had a career in year round children's camping. I have taught in three provinces. In no particular order, I love history, genealogy, knitting, my cat Radar, travelling, sushi, my husband, and igniting the spark of love for lifelong learning.
