Mike Landry (Alberta Resident)

speakerImage Biography: Mike’s faith began to be awakened at age 9, when his parents signed him up as an altar server. When his parish hired a youth minister in his teen years, Mike found in the Church a second home and in the person of Jesus, his dearest friend. Mike’s adult life has been a one-man mission to offer the same opportunities to today’s youth. Mike’s youth ministry resume includes time served with travelling retreat teams, music ministry, at a summer camp, ten years as a parish youth minister, and his current role: division Chaplain for Evergreen Catholic Schools (serving schools in Devon, Hinton, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Westlock, Alberta). He is also glad to serve as invited in other parishes and schools across Western Canada. In addition to more than twenty-one years experience in youth ministry, Mike holds an Advanced Certificate in Youth Ministry, a Bachelor of Theology, and s Master of Arts in Graduate Theology. He resides in Stony Plain with his amazing wife and five children.
